A Good Thing: My New Beard Comb
I got my Long Face beard comb! The one I talked about on the last blog. It’s a good one. I don’t know what separates the great beard combs from okay ones, but this one works great for me. You might be thinking, “Why do you need a bigass wooden comb for your beard?”
Well, because beards get knotted up just like head hair. The bigger comb…bristles(?)…make it easier to get through the beard without snagging and ripping out hairs. I really like this comb. It’s a cool color AND…

Creative Spotlight: ZERO (The Grand Rapids Beat Maker)
ZERO is the best beat maker in Grand Rapids. I know from seeing him, talking to him, and (the biggest reason) because he won the competition for that title.
He was also on my podcast once. We had a great conversation, ranging from music, books, and our favorite wrestlers. Woo!

Tallon’s Thoughts: Get Out of a Bad Thing Earlier Rather Than Later
Man, I was working on something for awhile before I realized I was unhappy with the project as a whole. That’s not true. I realized right away I was unhappy with the project, but I thought I could steer it in the right direction. Everything in me was like, “Get the hell outta this dumpster fire organization!” but I ignored that. Probably out of a sense of both duty and pride.
Well, the situation went from kinda dumb to completely idiotic in a heartbeat, but I was so put off by it that I didn’t quit the project immediately. I thought, I’m going to make this stupid piece of garbage work. It didn’t work.
If you find yourself in a situation you don’t like (creatively, professionally, relationship-wise, etc…) get the f–k out! The sooner the better.

Upcoming Stuff: Live Music in GR on Dec.16
As I alluded to earlier, ZERO has a show coming up with a really good lineup of performers. It’s in Grand Rapids, MI, on 46 Division. To those who don’t know, that’s ArtRat Gallery. It’s a super cool art shop run by nice people. They do cool events like this from time to time, and this one just happens to have a buddy of mine in it. I highly recommend the event and I will see you there!
