Free books? Conspiracies? Lions? Music?
Welcome newcomers, welcome back friends. I’m Christopher Tallon, author of Switchers. If you’re wondering, “What should I read next?” I have great news!

FREE BOOK: SWITCHERS by Christopher Tallon
Yup. It’s true, Switchers is free November 22-23 as an e-book on Amazon. Then I’m taking it down from Kindle Unlimited so I’ll be able to sell it in my new online store!
But I’ll get into that more. Please…continue on.

A Good Thing: The WHY FILES (A YouTube Channel)
I can’t stop watching The Why Files. It’s almost an everyday thing.
I write weird stuff, so of course I watch conspiracy YouTube videos. And these are some of my favorites, in part because of the information, but also the presentation. It’s smart, silly in small doses, interesting, and most videos are less than half an hour long. They aren’t all conspiracy videos, but quite a few are. Others are about lost civilizations and scientific stuff. So if you’re not into conspiracies, there’s still some pretty cool stuff on The Why Files YouTube Page.
Tallon’s Thoughts: The Detroit Lions, Man…
The Lions have been a source of heartache for years. Now they’re starting to look good. Really good. And I can’t quite wrap my brain all the way around that.
I remember watching Barry Sanders when I was a kid. That was the last time you had to watch the Lions. This year is bring back those emotions. I mean, it’s not the same as Barry Sanders. Obviously. This whole team is fun to watch. But we’ve been fooled before…
Every fan I talk to says some version of the same thing: “I can’t believe how good they are. I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off.” And every time I think the Lion are going to fall apart…they don’t. They’re 8-2. No one has been able to say that about this team for decades. I don’t know how to handle it. Neither do most Lions fans. There’s a few who are calling for the Super Bowl right now. We’ve been there before. But not like this. Still trying to figure out how to deal with the Lion’s success. But in the meantime, I’m just going to savor their 4th quarter come-from-behind win over the Bears.
Having been a long time Lions fan, I feel kinda bad about the way the Bears lost to Detroit. That said, if you haven’t seen this, it’s pretty funny:
Sorry if you’re a Bears fan. But at least you’ve won a Super Bowl. So…
Literary Spotlight: Christopher Tallon Is Joining The Self-Published Author Cooperative

The Self-Published Author Cooperative is exactly that. A a new kind of publisher with a purpose to empower indie bookstores to collaborate with indie authors, offering readers unique new titles in magical environments. It’s small but growing, including me! I’m going to be part of this group helping indie bookstores hook up with exciting, upcoming indie writers. If you’ll remember, my book tour was called The Everywhere BUT Bookstores Tour, precisely because of how skeptical bookstores are of self-published authors. And they have good reason to be cautious; there’s some pure unreadable garbage out there. Another reason why talented indies need to band together.
Check out the S-P.A.C. website to see what’s brewing over there, readers!
Upcoming Stuff: New Song on A Talk in the Attic
A Talk in the Attic is a YouTube channel and podcast in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It’s where you may have seen my latest music video collaboration:
Give it a click so we can get it over 1,000 views, eh? Gracias.
But I made a new song. Technically a remix of Kirk’s (the host of A Talk in the Attic) old Thanksgiving song and also a video to premier on A Talk in the Attic:
That’s all for this week. Until next time, remember…read my book!
Ha. Lotsa love. Take care!
