Book Release Party Recap

Hey hey!

Thanks for checking in. If you weren’t there last weekend, the book release events were awesome. Here’s a little recap.

Thanks to Everyone Who Came out to My Events!

I had things going on at Has Heart coffee shop during the day, then at Grammotones in the evening. It was a blast reading to everyone who came out and listening to the incredible music of Sonny Ski.

I also want to let you know that even if you missed the events, you can still get copies of my books at both of the mentioned locations.

Thanks to everyone who came out, everyone who didn’t but got a book somehow, and to the event hosts. Has Heart and Grammotones are the coolest community-focused businesses in West Michigan.

The Events Were So Fun

Book Signing at HAS HEART Coffee Shop

I sold and signed a few copies of Sleepwalker Angel at HAS HEART earlier in the day, which makes sense since I wrote so much of the book there.

I had a great time, met some really cool people, and drank delicious coffee. Seriously–the coffee is amazing. Check it out sometime if you’re in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Speaking of Grand Rapids, Michigan, I had another event with the man who wrote the city’s new anthem:

The Book Release Party at GRAMMOTONES with Sonny Ski Was the Most Fun I’ve Ever Had!

Book release party at Grammotones in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with musical guest Sonny Ski

T’was an amazing evening, as you can see from the look of joyous disbelief on my face as I watched Sonny Ski absolutely kill it at Grammotones. (Shout out to my book cover designer, Kirk Ross, at the top right.)

SONNY SKI is a name you need to know if you like music.

His lyrical ability, voice, and overall style are intoxicating. And he’s so good at rapping he was able to turn a random page in my book into a song:

It’s $20 for a book, author readings, and a concert by an award winning (and recently nominated again) rapper.

If you already have the book (or just want to come for the music) it’s $10.

Call to Action!

If you’re in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area, go to Has Heart during the day, or Grammotones in the evening to get a copy of my book(s).

If you “want to do what most supports the author,” feel free to order a signed copy from my website.

It’s also on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited, and Barnes & Noble(.com). If you want, you can go in-store and ask about my books. They’re in the system, but not on the shelves. Maybe if a few people ask, they’ll put them on the shelves…

Thanks so much for your support, whether it be buying books in-person or online, or just by following me on social media.

Writing books wouldn’t be as much fun if cool people like you didn’t read em and interact with me.

Follow Me Online!

Speaking of, follow me on Threads, Instagram, and Facebook and let me know whatcha think of the books.
