J. B. Velasquez Is Literally Giving Books Away

BOOKS! (Free ones at that.)

Hey friends! I hope your year is off to a good start. Mine’s been a little rough. Broken dishwasher. Flooded basement. I’m attempting to revive the podcast but honestly haven’t had the strong motivation to chase down guests. I’d say 60% of people who agree to be on the podcast are a difficult to actually lock down. And I’ve been busy with BS and also trying to write my next book. So, I don’t know. Might just have to wait to restart it until I’m closer to launching my next book. Anyway, that’s not what’s important at the present moment.

For something more exciting, I’d like to tell you about my buddy J. B. Velasquez. He has a new book coming out next month, and to help him spread the word I thought I’d ask him to write a guest blog. And so he did. Lucky for you, it just so happens he needs some kind souls to read his new book and leave honest reviews. He doesn’t want charity or sympathy. Read the free book, let people know what you honestly think on Amazon (or anywhere else you might rate books (like Goodreads (or Litsy)). I thank you in advance for your support of indie authors.

OK, that’s enough of me. From here on out, it’s all J.B.

Later,

CT

J.B. Velasquez, author of "Tourist Trapped" and the upcoming "Every Last One: The Rise of Sylvia Boone"

Hi, I’m J. B. Velasquez and I’m a self-published indie author. Since I don’t have the same connections Penguin Random House does. I basically have my mom and a handful of friends on social media. Christopher Tallon, who you probably know, is one of those friends. And any friend of Chris is a friend of mine.

Hi friends!!

What’s an Advanced Review Copy?

Have you ever wondered how brand new books already have tons of reviews? Well, that’s because before it launched to the public, the publisher released it to certain industry folks to read and review ahead of time. Those pre-release copies are called Advanced Review Copies, or ARCs.

What’s Every Last One: The Rise of Sylvia Boone about?

Every Last One: The Rise of Sylvia Boone is a dystopian science fiction novel set in Canada in the year 2087. Sylvia Boone is a corporal in the region’s police force, and she is tired of all the corruption. She starts to investigate a sex trafficking operation and finds that high ranking officials in the ruling regime are involved. When they discover she is investigating them, they tell her to drop it. But of course, she doesn’t. When they catch up to her there is a deadly shootout, and a warrant is placed on her head. So now she has to get out of town, which is a huge risk because there are checkpoints and policing drones everywhere.

It’s a fast-paced, heart-stopping journey up through the Canadian tundra as trouble seems to find her no matter how far she runs. In the end, Sylvia must choose between the false promise of safety and vigilante justice. I bet you can guess which one she chooses.

If this is a story you might be interested in reading. Head over to BookFunnel and download your FREE review copy.

Feel free to read the sample (Chapter 1) before you download to make sure the story grabs you. If not, no worries! Thanks for stopping by. But if you do love it, download the full version and dive in. When you finish head over to Amazon and leave an honest review. My goal is to have at least 20 reviews by the release date, February 20, 2024.

Thanks for reading and thank you for supporting indie authors!
