Luna’s Thoughts (Leesa Mason’s Cat): Meet My Mom!

Dear Humans,

Writer and cat lover Alby Blazo aka Leesa Mason.

My mom, you may know her as Alby Blazo or Leesa Mason, has locked herself in a room to work on her reverse harem series, and has delegated all other tasks to me, her gorgeous, beautiful, and worthy cat. You’ve possibly heard tales of my greatness. I can confirm that they are indeed all true, and barely touch on the fabulousness that is I.

Mom’s just sort of okay. She should write less and worship me more. Everyone should worship me.

But now we’ve gotten off task. I’m supposed to tell you about her. There’s not much to tell though because she’s pretty boring honestly.

She drinks a lot of tea and is constantly deciding on a better order to shelve her hundreds of books that clutter up all of the best sunrays. She writes a lot too. Before she had me she wrote fables, and still does sometimes. None about me though, and that’s a shame. She put out a poetry book too which had something to do about a local band or something? I can’t remember. Sometimes when she talks, I don’t listen. But right now she’s mostly writing romances, the smutty kind. I don’t know, I’ve never read any of them.

If you really want to know more about her, I suppose you could ask her yourself. She’s around town at different artist markets sometimes. Or find her on most social media or her website.

If you ask super nice, she’ll probably send you a picture of me too. You know you want to see the perfection that is I.

Love,

Luna

Get to Reading!

Hey guys, it’s me again (CT). Alby/Leesa is a good friend of mine; you might’ve caught us in public sharing a selling table a few times. She’s great and she’s worth a read for you poetry lovers AND for you smutty romance readers. Feel free to go to her website Love Luna Press, and check her out on Instagram and Facebook!

Upcoming Stuff: Jan.18, 2024 Book Reading & Signing for 3rd Thursdays in Grand Rapids, MI

christopher tallon, author of Switchers, and host of Creative Ops

Oh yeah, baby!

I was invited to read from my book followed by a signing at/by Cocoon Art Space. Here in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we do a monthly event called 3rd Thursdays (which you already read about, so I won’t go over it again), and I was asked to do an event inside Cocoon Art Space, who already sells my book in-store. The owners, Tedd and Josie, are a married couple who make art, run the store, and generally kick ass as human beings.

If you haven’t been to Cocoon Art Space, I highly recommend it. Good people, good art, and a mission to work with locals. Great stuff, man.

Here’s a quote from their website:

Cocoon Art Space fosters the creative process and transformation of visual art. From concept to completion, art happens within the walls of the space. As a gallery, Cocoon Art Space hosts exhibits featuring local guest talent. Our customers can expect to find art, distinctive artisan goods, and a selection of specialty art supplies in a family-friendly setting.

Our mission is to support local artistic expression.

And a post from a recent event:

That’s all I’ve got. If you don’t mind, please check out www.christophertallon.com, I recently made some big changes to the website. For example, now you can buy my ebook on my website…FOR CHEAPER THAN YOU CAN ON AMAZON!

Alright. I’ll talk to y’all later. Be good.

  1. How refreshing to have this four-legged POV on the subject of author moms. Our cat mom is typing this for us as we have no fingers – just toes – and claws. We are encouraging her to buy Cat Mom’s books by threatening to use her office chair as our new scratching post, but she insists that she was going to buy them anyway. Good Mom, for keeping our feline friends in cat nip!
