Fixing the Issue: My Newsletter Wasn’t Going to Everyone

Christopher Tallon fixed his newsletter issues!

(*IF YOU GOT TWO OF THESE NEWSLETTERS, IGNORE THIS ONE)

This newsletter…am I right?!?

(That’s an AI image of me, by the way. Pretty wild, huh?)

Anywho, today I’d like to apologize if this if the first email you’re getting from me in awhile. Or maybe ever! There was a technical difficulty that I’ll explain. And I’ll try to quickly catch you up on anything you missed.

Like my upcoming book release!

Silly Newsletter…

Way more people should’ve been reading my newsletters. Statistically, only about 30% of those who signed up were receiving emails. Not opening them, receiving them in the first place.

Turns out my web host doesn’t handle the number of people on my email list without specific plugins. I’ve (hopefully) remedied that now; I’m not a particularly techy guy, but I think I figured it out. Not sure.

I guess we’ll find out together.

Newsletter Highlights: What You Might Have Missed

Newsletter

I’ve had several new podcast episodes out recently. I haven’t been as active on that as usual for a few reasons. The main one being my new book. It’s almost ready for release and the last several weeks it’s all I’ve thought about. That said, the ebook for Sleepwalker Angel is up for pre-order on Amazon. If you want a paperback, you can go to the official Tallon Store, which I’d prefer, but you do you.

I sold books in Columbus, OH, where I debuted advance, unedited copies of Sleepwalker Angel. I slept in my car in freezing temperatures feet away from a crime scene. That was interesting.

I did an appearance on my local NPR station.

There’s more but I won’t put it all here. For both our sakes.

Catch Up!

I’d love it if you pre-ordered a paperback on my website, or pre-order the ebook on Amazon.

If you haven’t, check out the podcast:

A Proper Goodbye (FINAL EPISODE) – A Podcast for Creative People

I never said goodbye… Here's a proper final episode of my podcast, A Podcast for Creative People, that I started back in early 2020. Great timing, eh? I want to thank everyone who listened and the guests for sure. A special, heartfelt thank you to everyone who bought my books after listening to the show. Thank you on behalf of my guests for buying their books, art prints, music, and so on. In the future I'll be doing a more book-centric podcast, which I talk about a little bit, so keep an eye out for that. Keep up with me, Christopher Tallon, right here, on social media (@tallonwrites on the platforms I'm on), and at http://www.christophertallon.com, where you can also get my books! (They're also available on Amazon and BN.com.) Thanks guys! You ROCK.
  1. A Proper Goodbye (FINAL EPISODE)
  2. Ep.92 | Cocoon ArtSpace – The Collaborative "Growth" Exhibit
  3. Ep.91 | Pablo Eskobear – Jammie Award Winning Producer (Best Instrumental Album)
  4. Ep.90 | Chris LaPorte – From Theme Parks to ArtPrize Glory
  5. Ep.89 | Hot Sauce Challenge! – w/ Ivan Labra

If you want to make sure you didn’t miss anything, feel free to go back. You can read the old newsletters here.

Alright, that’s all from me for now.

Later I’ll be sharing some of the shows I have lined up through the midway point of 2025. If you’re in Milwaukee, Omaha, or anywhere in west Michigan, I’ll be around. And I’ll update everyone on the gigs in future updates. One of the things I’m doing is a tattoo festival. Should be fun.

Talk to you soon!
